Save Your Old Inkjet Cartridges and Cell Phones
We have signed up with a inkjet cartridge recycler. This has the benefit of saving cartridges from going to the landfill and also generating funds for CRUG. So please save your old cartridges and bring them to any meeting. There has been a change to the recycling program. They now will only accept original manufacturer inkjet cartridges from Hewlett Packard, Lexmark and Dell.

Focus on CRUG Education Classes
CRUG will be giving instructors a rest during July and August. Classes at the Citrus Springs Community Center will resume in the fall.
CRUG is always striving to offer educational opportunities to members and other local residents. To do that a new location for classes has been added and others are being considered. We currently have classes scheduled at the Crystak oaks Club House and the Citrus Springs Community Center. So be sure to note the location of classes. Members receive a discount on many classes.
CRUG classes are for educational purposes and not to be used for Commercial marketing.
Here Anita welcomes students to class. There is always a CRUG Education representative at the classes to get students signed in and settled.
Some students come to class with their laptops so they can work along with the instructor while learning new computer skills.
Our President, Alfred Morton, has put his time in the dotnetnuke classes to god use. He now has a page on his site where you can fill out and submit a form to sign up for a class. To see dotnetnuke at work and sign up for a class just click the following link: http://www.dnnclass.com/morton
Advanced Dotnetnuke - CRUG is fortunate to be able to work with Robert Shevlin to offer classes on how to make a Web page with dotnetnuke. Dotnetnuke is so powerful that anything to be created for a webpage can be done by someone with no programming skills. Bob Shevlin is a great teacher and he loves to teach. He is an expert on dotnetnuke. We are lucky to have him in Citrus County and willing to teach us such a great technology. These classes are offered at the Homosassa Public Library.

| CRUG (Crystal River Users Group) is made up of a group of people living in and around Citrus County Florida, interested in learning how to use our computers. We are volunteers dedicated to computer education.
CRUG was organized in 1986. It all began when six or so people got together to try to make some gadget called a computer work. They discovered that with each others help they could make their computers do something useful. From that a club was organized so others might learn to use their computers. By the end of 1986 the computer club had grown to 26 members. They met in members' homes and as membership grew moved to the local First Presbyterian Church. That's how it all got started. Today CRUG has over 75 family memberships. Please peruse our site and learn more about us.
We meet at 6:00 p.m. for a social time and a meeting at 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Crystal Oaks Club House. Our General Meetings are FREE and open to the public and we always have an interesting program featuring the latest in computer hardware and software. Come out and join us!
